We’re looking for a pro-active Systems engineer who has relevant experience to monitor, troubleshoot, and manage our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate for this position should prioritize critical tasks and collaborate with the teams and vendors to resolve and find solutions. We’re interested in automating as many of our processes as possible to reduce the potential for human errors.
Installing and deploying Windows and Linux OS through WDS.
Hands on experience to install, setup and configure diverse applications and hardware
Manage server and workstation image building, deployment, hardware configuration, and troubleshooting.
Asset management of all Software and Hardware.
Support all O365 applications, and Outlook related tickets.
Troubleshooting skill on End Point Security Products like Symantec End Point Protection, Bit locker Encryption.
Creating SFTP user accounts and sharing account details to end users.
Disabling user accounts in Linux and taking backup over SFTP user accounts.
Providing permanent resolution and basis for Incident and Change management.
Manage and resolve requests/support tickets without breaching SLA time.
Competency / Skills
3 years' experience in managing and supporting Windows and Linux platforms.
Hands on experience to install, setup and configure diverse applications and hardware.
Hands on experience with MS office and configuring email / MS-outlook.
Good technical knowledge of networking essentials like TCP / IP, DHCP, DNS etc.
Participating in daily health checks and prepare daily, weekly and monthly status reports.
Knowledge on Linux environments.
Good technical knowledge of Wi-Fi and networking devices.
Hands on experience on anti-virus clients & patch management.
Basic technical knowledge on Windows servers.
Managing hardware and software inventory.
Working knowledge of managing accounts in active directory, groups and group policy etc.
Able to work in flexible shifts.
Good written and spoken communication skills.
