Microsoft Research India is looking for a Research Development Engineer to work on infrastructure that will enable Intelligence in the Enterprise Cloud. We are looking for an experienced engineer with a passion to improve the state of the art. Join us now to work on this effort through architecture, design, implementation and deployment of cutting edge deep learning solutions. You will be working closely with AI researchers and architects, and delivering on our vision with a series of well executed releases. We have partners in product groups such as Office who will partner with Microsoft Research India to light up end user scenarios together.
We are looking for an experienced engineer with proven skills to deliver on the ambitious goals of the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong technical skills involving design and coding
Hands on experience implementing solutions
Strong programming skills in C#, Java, C or C++
Effective communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills
BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
4+ years of experience in software development with large, multi-discipline teams
Deep understanding of development processes and has personally contributed to at least one of critical product ship cycle at a large software firm
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Experience working in a research environment
Experience working with cloud and large scale data
Working experience with ML, deep learning, and python
