A key initiate being driven within Digital Business Services(DBS) is the Bank Wide Operations Transformation ( BWOT ) strategy focused on Operational Stewardship, transformation delivery via a front to back approach building a more robust control environment aligned to our technology strategy with a focus to invest further in DBS.
A key component is the Job Architecture (JA) program under BWOT is key focus areas and aims to build a fit for purpose and a consistent JA framework across operational stewardship to drive consistent workforce strategy, agility of workforce and build a foundation for next generation automation and digitization ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
The role holder is to be involved with aspects of HR, which may include Employee Relations, Recruitment, Compensation and Learning and Development. The exact nature may vary depending on geographical remit with focus on:
Culture and change management, Recruitment and retention, Compensation and benefits, Performance/ Talent management, Career development, Training and upskilling, Succession planning and leadership development, Workforce planning, Employment law / regulations: ‘at-risk’, severance, and unions and HR tooling, MI/ data and systems
The role holder will need to deliver and execute on the following aspect within their allocated area:
Baseline/ define Group HR’s end to end process map in relation to work stream
Drive programme delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, interdependencies, budget and risks
Work in collaboration with other HR specialist on the BWOT programme ensuring we leverage best practice and avoid duplication. For example, continue to build & develop on foundational work of job architecture and skill profiling to build viable solutions for BWOT.
Document all Global Business / Global Functions current people ‘taxonomies or methodologies’ in respect to work stream engaging with HR teams from other areas of the Bank, with the view to better understand variances or gaps
Develop solutions to enable a common HR taxonomy across all operational activities across all line of business
Support to execute on any proposed solutions mitigating any associated risks/ actions
Establish effective relationships to aide operational bank wide delivery within HR
Ensure that both business and HR adhere to the regional / global interlocks in respect to project engagement or development of key solutions and actions
Identify the need for any communication plans and raise/ prepare/ delivery accordingly and ensure interlocks / socialization of solutions take place.
Responsible for developing any analysis/ reports required for the work stream relating to People
Establishing key measures of success or KPI’s for their domain/ work stream and agreeing this with the HR programme lead
Surface/ establish/ anticipate and mitigate any key people/ process risk for their domain / work stream
Ensure that the PMO/ Programme Lead is keep up to date with any key project updates through weekly reporting and catch ups.
Prepare all work stream related materials for socialization/ governance / signoff
Managing key actions such as Risk & Control Management
Requirements
Degree in HR or related field
Overall experience of 9+ years
Strong generalist HR experience required and demonstrated across multiple HR domains
Exposure in working with multi-countries based teams, preferably in a Finance Services environment
Prior experience in Program / Change management within HR function is required
Ability to work well independently in a high volume environment
Relationship Management; ability to navigate through complex, matrix organizations
Strong consulting, research, customer service, problem-solving and organizational skills.
Relevant experience & strong understanding of HR process in shared service center is essential
Knowledge on the Risk & Control aspects is required, preferably in Human Resources function
Ability to identify emerging trends, interpret data, and draw insights
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to maintain effective working relationships with teams, peers, senior management and business stakeholders
Good understanding and knowledge of MS office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting aggressive deadlines
