Portfolio Management To personally manage a portfolio of at least 15 accounts and also a team of relationship managers (RMs) To achieve over all business targets on volumes and profitability for the specific portfolio of customers managed as well as for the team of relationship managers reporting into the candidate Wallet share identification and scoping of all accounts existing and potential NTB customers; to be done for self-managed portfolio of minimum 15 accounts as well as for the unit To keep a check on the performance of accounts and overall portfolio of self and unit Portfolio review and remedial management includes managing exits, line reductions, recovery and restructuring of exposures; management of stress and critical accounts Improvement on yield for the Bank so that the Portfolio has a strong Return on capital; to push for cross sell of all products of the Bank To update own calls in CRM and to review calls done by reporting RMs to provide guidance and monitor tasks & leads for closure Supervision of team, Performance Review & Mentorship Help reporting RMs scope for possible product penetration and provide strategy and guidance on how to achieve it Providing guidance to reporting RMs and preparing them before call to make an effective and resulted oriented sales pitch Ensure that all the management guidance is properly passed on to every RM in the team for effective management guidance implementation and to ensure compliance to management guidance with respect to personally managed portfolio of accounts Team management to make sure the entire unit is fully motivated and in line with Banks initiatives of growth Supervision of RM on Performance, variance with budgets and plans to meet shortfall Performance Review of Team Monthly reviews of the RM portfolio (plan VS achievement) with other cross function teams to ensure better product penetration; to be done for own portfolio of accounts as well as for the unit Training & Development Training and mentoring the individual RMs On the Job Appraisal and feedback for continuous improvements Recruitment Interviews Operations & Processes To update own calls in CRM and to review calls done by reporting RMs to provide guidance and monitor tasks & leads for closure Credit Review.
- Approver / Recommendation of Credit Limits for the unit, recommendation of credit limits for accounts handled personally KYC / AML tracking of customers that are personally handled Documentation formalities to be done for effective pre and post disbursement of facilities or banking products Management of deferrals/ pre and post documentation formalities for self and unit Administrative approvals.
Client Management & Servicing To engage in regular calling on existing as well as prospective clients in personally managed portfolio of 15 accounts and to accompany reporting RMs on calls on their portfolio of customers in a supervisory capacity Relationship building with both internal and external customers of the Bank; to supervise and ensure that all pain areas of the customer with any support function are resolved through process improvement / TAT for higher product share Interaction with promoters and senior management of ECG relationships to build a strong relationship with the clients Coordination & Communication with internal & external stakeholders Interacting with various departments of the Bank and providing them with insight on ECG business and to get inputs on their business for cross sell at the region level.
