Willingness to travel in a small extend (to follow a meeting / to execute an audit / to follow a training).
Responsible for making and keeping the process safety studies (HAZOP/LOPA) up-to-date: starting from organizing, attending the sessions to processing the recommendations for new and existing units/process equipment. Also the follow up of the measures / actions (independent layers of protection) is under your responsibility.
To ensure that the HAZOP/LOPA analyses are made in compliance with the local legislation and the groupwide RCI standards.
To follow up and calculating of mechanical and instrumental safety devices that are defined as independent layers of protection. To provide test protocols and information to production and maintenance teams how to test and when.
Investigate in depth process safety incidents together with production and technical RCI employees to prevent reoccurrence.
Responsible for making and keeping the hazardous area classification program for flammable liquids/gases for existing and new process equipment / plants. Also the control of ignition sources and adjustments to the zoning plans (ATEX).
To advise process safety and preventing measures when changes are performed on process equipment (Management of Change).
To contribute to internal and external audits that are process safety related.
Implement lessons learned and best practices of external process safety incidents / external best practices (RCI or from other companies) within the organization.
Contribute process safety trainings to employees and to assist communication of process safety initiatives / actions / process safety KPI’s within your organization.
Based on the performances and the evolution in the work, there can be a discussion for promotion, provided when a higher function is released.
