Objectives of the Position
This specialist role in Maintenance team, will support the operations and automation activities at site. This is a shift working position.
Executing tasks delegated by maintenance/automation team as a member of team.
To ensure the availability of backups for all programs and drive parameters for various machines and carry out program modifications as and when required and update the back up.
Responsible for day to day activities. - (Breakdown, preventive, predictive maintenance.)
Shift handling and leading.
To initiate/carryout Why- Why analysis for major breakdowns and identify and eliminate the root cause.
To develop Maintenance information system to capture all shift wise occurrences and in turn builds up equipment history.
Monitor the use and inventory of spare parts, maintenance supplies and initiate re-ordering when necessary and reduce maintenance cost.
Responsible for adhering to all safety norms and comply with various audit requirements w.r.t maintaining of records.
Manage the interfaces between equipment’s, Material Handling/Robots and IT. Manage the Material Handling Supplier for service support and troubleshooting activities
To review his process performance and analyze in case of any deviation & evaluate the action plan & its effectiveness.
Ensure and reinforce Clean and Safe Work environment by following the best practices of 3C & 5S.
Safety - Collaborate to achieve the target of Zero Accident in the site set by the company by identifying the potential hazards in the site and eliminating them, to carry out risk analysis for the activities performed / locations where the activities are performed and take appropriate countermeasures for the high risk and medium risk activities / locations, to continuously watch the shop floor and identify the near misses and hits and correct the situation before any accident occurs.

Hands on Experience on SPM’s
Knowledge about Robotics (ABB & Koch)
Exposure working with global technical team
Knowledge of problem-solving methods like 5Why, 8D, RCFA
Trouble shooting knowledge in PLC, VFD & Servo Systems
Trouble Shooting Knowledge in Siemens HMI, TIA
Basic Knowledge of SCADA
Having experience with various suppliers including global vendors
Working knowledge in SAP PM / MM modules.
Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position
Education: B.E / B. Tech / (Mechatronics / Instrumentation / EEE / ECE).
Working Experience: B.E Minimum 3 Years.
Technical & Professional Knowledge: Auto ancillary / Process Industry / Automation
Expertise in coding.
Programmable Logic Controllers
Allen-Bradley/Rockwell (PLC-5, SLC 500, MicroLogix, ControlLogix, CompactLogix)
Siemens (S7-200, 300, 400)
Siemens/TI (545, 555)
Robot experience (programming and integration)
Basic of SCADA System Software and HMI
Wonderware InTouch / WINCC
Weighing Scales experience
Automation Direct (Lookout, C-More, Point of View)
