Your field of responsibility
The role is for a Solution Engineer within the CFO Data Sourcing and Controls team with accounting and financial systems experience. Candidate will have hands on, day to day responsibility for multiple software projects analysis, design and delivery across the core CFO IB sub ledger infrastructure, and requires a specialist understanding of the core CFO related business processes, for example Trial Balance, P&L, GL and regulatory reporting.
Being a senior role, the candidate is also expected to guide and mentor less senior teams and individuals in a globally distributed team numbering approx. 90 Project Management and Solution Engineering staff.
The role has a high degree of business exposure, engaging with Line and Change project groups to deliver quality products to production.

The Data Sourcing and Front to Back Projects organization is a truly global division comprising approximately 200 staff members in 6 locations. A fully functional application development department, with agile squads of in-house developers, QA specialists, project managers and solution engineers. Out of which Pune has the largest presence in term of a diverse group of subject matter-experts and IT competency specialists.

Your skills and experience
The successful candidate will have a track record of systems analyst or technical business systems analyst delivery type roles, ideally in a Financial or Banking institution
Technical systems design experience, interface design and specification (including non-functional requirements, OLA/SLA)
Ability to articulate and detail complex data mapping and translation procedures and modules
Extensive experience of software delivery projects from inception to production support
Able to build and maintain own test cases in a range of automated tools
Prior application development experience is an advantage
