SWZD is looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to oversee and manage SEO and SEM strategies.

Manage SEO activities including content ideas for traffic generation, keyword optimization, and link building, and all SEM campaigns on Google and via possible sister media properties.
Oversee the day-to-day search marketing activities across multiple search engines (Google, Bing, etc.) including the campaign planning, implementation, budget management, performance review, and optimization of paid search campaigns.
Partner with marketing teams to ensure copy and testing reflects current initiatives.
Drive on-page optimization tactics including content recommendations, updating page headlines, meta titles, meta descriptions, alt tags, schema code, and more.
Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
Track, collect and analyze data from a/b testing ad campaigns, PPC initiatives, and website analytics, identifying trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI.
Monitor campaigns daily to ensure the account is pacing well relative to budgets and targets.
Conduct ongoing keyword research and collaborate with content and web teams to build up our domain authority and search rankings.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative audience research using data sets.
Partner with the Ops team to collect and interpret insights to guide campaigns, maximize engagement, and make data-backed recommendations.
Establish closed-loop analytics to understand how our inbound marketing activity turns into customers, and continually refine our process to convert customers.
Measure impact across campaign channels to inform recommendations.
Degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience in building, managing and optimizing paid acquisition efforts with campaigns in AdWords and LinkedIn.
Analytical mindset, with the ability to identify trends and insights through data analysis.
Adept at juggling many projects at once, working cross-functionally, while never losing sight of goals.
Effectively communicate expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion.
Resolves and/or escalates issues in a proactive manner, to adhere to campaign delivery goals.
Deep understanding of customer segmentation and target account GTM strategies.
Proficiency in SEO and SEM best practices and implementation of such strategies.
Familiarity with analytical and database tools (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Google Keyword Planner) with proven ability to translate analytic data into strategic insights that drive successful marketing programs.
Google AdWords & Analytics certifications preferred.
Excellent written communication and copy-writing skills.
Well-versed in email best-practices and compliance.
Strong project management skills that will aid in designing and optimizing marketing programs to deliver upon overall company goals and metrics.
5+ years experience in similar role, preferable with media or B2B tech company
Accomplishes organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
Comfortable with a high degree of dynamism in the business and works with urgency.
Self-starter with ability to work independently with minimal oversight and helps the team focus on the tasks that drive the most value.
Proactively explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

Understands the importance of clear and effective communication in the workplace and pays great attention to detail.
