Regional Procurement ASP, SQD, SQD ASP

SQD is responsible for supplier quality assessments and part approvals in ASP region.


On-time execution of new component qualifications using PPAP process
Develop positive relationships and work closely with Sourcing Leaders, Global quality team and engineering team to execute projects, manage and implement supplier/engineering changes, New Product Introductions etc
Liase with supplier for securing PPAP documents within agreed timeframe, registering in database & secure PPAP order placement
Ensure PPAP are mature/correct & Collect Fit Form Function-test report confirming factory acceptance / site feedback
Visit supplier / conduct FAI if needed (to be aligned with supplier responsible)
Sign-off PSWs once requirements are fulfilled
Set vendor items as approved in QDA database and SAP
Archive PPAP documents in database and send PSW to supplier
Sound knowledge on New Component Introduction with experience in Engineering Drawings, specifications, PPAP Process, applicable tools (FMEA, GR&R, Control plans, Sampling, Capability studies, etc.)
New Supplier Evaluation / onboarding: Rigorously execute the supplier evaluation process including quality & compliance audits
Train & drive suppliers to use our tools & upload objective evidence
Work closely with Engineering and Sourcing team to ensure adequate understanding of product risks & severities of failure
Lead robust root cause analysis & corrective actions as required
Work closely with Sourcing team to ensure NCI timelines are adhered to & stated capacity is established
Understand & use tools rigorously to mitigate risk of non-conformant product from shipping from a supplier's facility


Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering
Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent will be advantageous
Supplier assessment experience


Hands on experience in PPAP & APQP
Problem solving tools
6 sigma exposure
Power train commodity experience
Engineering skills (drawing interpretation, GD & T)
Experience in operating in European supply chain preferred
Flexible to work in shifts
