Health Risk Management-Analytics function at Max Bupa helps data evidence based decision making for the business to enable better understanding and management of the health risk that Max Bupa on boards.

This is an individual contributor role and requires working closely with key stakeholders across sales, underwriting, claims, finance and actuarial functions to perform analysis on critical health risk related data within the scope of HRM. Health Insurance / Health Care Background will be preferable.

  • Work on critical and ad-hoc analyses to help the business react and respond to various issues that emerge in an organization growing as rapidly as Max Bupa and operating in an environment that is as dynamic as the Indian health insurance industry
  • Responsible for developing/ generating reports
o Support in development & automation of regular reports - daily / weekly / monthly

o Preparation, development & automation of comprehensive MIS packs, Dashboards

  • Maintain data quality and integrity in SAS-enabled analytics environment
  • Develop and refresh regular and ad-hoc reports and analyses as required
  • Provide insights along with the data and reports shared with stakeholders
  • Create and maintain supporting documentation/ SOPs
  • Accuracy of output

o While it is not expected that the job holder will have extensive external interactions, ability to interact and manage relationships outside Max Bupa , as and when required, will be critical to performance

Minimum Qualification

Minimum Experience

  • Graduate / post-graduate with any specialization
  • Proficient (Expert level) in SAS / SQL (knowledge of R or Python will be added advantage)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • 1-3 years of prior experience in SAS programming
  • SAS expert with use of PROC SQL, SAS macro and macro variable
  • Prior work experience in a health insurance firm will be preferable
  • Experience of operating in an ad-hoc project environment will be an added advantage
