The successful candidate is a hands-on manager with an established, documented competence in IT program management. You like to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will drive, coordinate and run a full portfolio of projects that are managed jointly with the PMO at the Snowflake HQ. This role will own the satellite PMO in Pune with the autonomy to operate across the IT functions in Pune and HQ.
Manage and develop the Snowflake IT PMO team in Pune and lead key initiatives across the organization.
Enable a strong methodology for remote PMO operation in support of the project pipeline intake, business case development, value measurements, and development of reports & dashboards.
Convert strategic directions from IT leadership into PMO portfolio plans with business priority guidance.
Partner with IT & Business functions (Product, Sales, Finance Apps, Security, Data Engineering etc.), locally and globally to deliver on the project portfolio.
Define and develop PMO KPIs and drive achievement through metrics review with management.
Identify, forecast and provide guidance to management on resource needs based on IT program roadmaps.
Be a hands-on manager and ready to take on projects as a PM when needed at crunch time.
Hire, train and motivate best-in-class PMs to achieve PMO objectives.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and 15+ years of relevant Project Management experience.
Progressive experience (5+ years) in managing PM teams and cross functional programs
Very good organizational, facilitation and presentation skills.
Strong problem-solving, planning, and execution skills, including a desire to roll up sleeves to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with stakeholders from across functional areas, by creating collaborative relationships, influencing others.
Energetic self-starter with a proven track record for getting things done in a high-growth, ambiguous environment.
Experience in the SaaS CRM, Billing & ERP deployments (SalesForce and Workday are a strong plus)
Must be well versed in Business Process Analysis, requirements capture and design reviews with functional analysts
Strong PM skills (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Lean principles)
