- BA Continuum is a nonbank subsidiary of Bank of America, part of Global Business Services in the bank.
Within Global Markets, FICC and Derivatives Core Operations (FDCO) teams are the primary interface to our FICC Trading partners for all post-trade operations. FDCO performs end to end trade control, confirmation and settlements processes across FICC businesses and provides utility OTC derivative confirmation and settlement services for non FICC businesses. Within FDCO, the teams provide multiple services such as FICC trade control (which includes trade validation, trade maintenance, break resolution and system reconciliation), FX electronic matching and settlement, OTC derivative confirmation & settlement (which includes confirmation of OTC derivative transactions across multiple asset classes via electronic and paper flows and settlement of cross asset class derivative cash flows), commodities operations (including paper confirmation issuing chasing & indexing and cash & physical settlements) and loan operations (including end-to-end support of loan trading, primary syndications, structured lending, and whole loans)
The position will be the Operational Risk and control Lead for the function in India, driving sustainable risk culture. The lead is required to strategize plans for strengthening internal controls, enhance Quality Assurance thereby reducing the operational risk. She/he is responsible to review and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the systems and processes, reliability of reporting, compliance with policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations.
She/He should have exposure /understanding of Global Markets (Foreign Exchange/ Derivatives/ Middle Office Operation) in an offshore environment and thorough understanding of the Banking systems, internal control and reporting processes.
Enabling process owners to identify and monitor Key Risk & Control indicators with established triggers and limits.
Ensuring Quality Assurance is implemented in adherence to GT&O QA minimum standards.
Periodic testing of key controls for critical functions, and supporting gap remediation as needed
Support delivery teams on Issues management and Audit management
Supporting day to day relationship management and communications with business partners at various levels of the organization, as well as other Enterprise Control Functions (ECFs).
