Network connectivity products & Services is more and more essential and at the heart of Airbus Transformation delivering efficient worldwide connectivity with reduced lead time, high speed and scalability through easy upgrades.The only way for the infrastructure team to deliver the connectivity on time and on quality is to automatize the activities & use relevant new connectivity solutions.
You will lead Projects & Operations activities for transformation of the network connectivity products and Services to ensure transformation, according to the networking best practices, in all Airbus Divisions, Roofs, Partners and Suppliers. As Service Delivery Manager - Network connectivity products and services you would be working mainly on Industrial topics as well as on Cloud ensuring day-to-day operational activities of the Network connectivity products and services are managed from nominated suppliers in accordance with contract and agreed SLAs, specifically for AsiaPAC.
Primary responsibilities will include but not limited to :
Accountable for the delivery on time, on costs and on quality of connectivity projects managed from the Asia Pacific zone. It includes wireless, LAN, Connectivity Security and WAN projects covering the 24/7 support window for more than 30,000.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, documentation, technical KPIs and SLAs for network & telecommunications services portfolio.
Accountable for establishing the process and procedure for continuous improvement in the service level and user experience based on the continuous user feedback.
Accountable for stakeholder relationships to provide insight into business priorities and align deliverables with maximum business value.
Lead supplier relationships and contract management for the Connectivity product lines for the full Airbus Asia Pacific Scope, ensuring adaptability to the different business needs.
Ability to develop and monitor progress of projects, and good organizational, project management, team building, and people skills
Provides technical expertise and guidance, networking and operating system expertise, project management, and serves as an escalation resource for all technical needs.
Develop skills and expertise within the team that can then contribute to multi-function teams to enable business services teams to rapidly deliver business value through IM solutions
Define and execute the technical, sourcing, resources strategy and roadmap in line with the IM values and challenges
Ensure integrity and availability of data through continuous assessment of data backup operations.
Produce detailed reports on network connections, network capabilities, network infrastructure, annual projects, including visual aids to identify areas of concern.
Develop and maintain operation documents with respect to performance, procedures, campus network standards, schedules, traffic data, billing, SLA, and budget.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies or related field, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
A minimum of eight years progressively responsible experience in general and high performance networking, with at least five years of advanced networking design and implementation, and management experience. Experience in a higher education environment is preferred.
Experience with network and infrastructure technologies
Demonstrated experience managing a team of network professionals
Strong understanding of technical troubleshooting methodology
Ability to facilitate problem-solving among administrative groups with varying needs and priorities, and to communicate well with administrative users, technical staff, and senior management
Knowledge of applicable laws, guidelines or regulations as they relate to IT
Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills across organizational boundaries
Ability to work with a range of technical staff to develop joint solutions
