Job Title: IT Operations Manager
Job location: Pune
Reports to: Head of IT – ISC
In this role. You will be responsible for:
Strategic Partnering & Stakeholder Management:
Responsible for End –to – End IT infrastructure & operations management and stakeholder management in assigned geography.
Collaborate with Global Team for Digital Innovation and related teams for deployment of IT tools and seamless usage
Supplier management for IT Infra, Network, IT Peripheral device & Manpower consultancy
Good Negotiation skills to manage the business expectations and alignment with Internal & External stake holders
Provide cost effective and efficient generic IT Infrastructure Solutions integrating corporate IT with generic IT services or shared IT services meeting business requirements towards IT solutions in best way to meet the Philips IT strategies.
Understands and assess business impact of different IT requirements and Infra solutions, and wherever required communicate proactively to key stakeholders
Risk handling and mitigating without any Business Impact and manage Business, stakeholder communications
Analyzing existing IT operational processes and making proposals regarding process re-engineering and IT solutions to move up in the state of the art technology setup
Evaluates the technical and economic feasibility of IT Infra solution per office space and real estate space.
Program/ Project & Portfolio management:
Provide suggestions for efficient usage and ways of working with new, existing Infra IT solutions
Anchors the new IT Solutions/ collaborative tools deployments towards the end user base, sharing the user tips for best usages of IT infra and tools
Project Management of IT infra, Network initiatives, and ensures that project stays within agreed budget and timelines.
Works together with IT Engineers and suppliers to oversee implementation of IT solutions
Vendor assessment & management, new projects and initiative in / outside geography and alignment of global / local IT services towards user base.
Provide consulting services to application development teams and/or customers regarding technologies and the application of specific technology standards.
People management, capacity planning, contingency planning, and configuration management support, in line with corporate and Sector strategy and guidelines.
Keep update of latest technical developments in own field through literature, technical contacts, and industry competition.
IT Services cost budgeting and management reporting for AOP, supplier tariffs & billing, cost reductions
Management of outsourced suppliers and resources on local level and take audit role in checking and validating reports provided. Consolidate local demand, organize and contract implementation and perform supplier management.
Budget tracking spend, participation/ contribution in AoP discussions India Finance team and controllers along with Head of IT ISC.
Supplier PO and Invoice management as per the Philips legal and Fiscal standards
Manage new Projects in close collaboration with real estate and IT suppliers
Ensure that the Infrastructure & Operations services seamlessly provided at the Regional and Site level on a consistent basis meeting all Service Level agreements and Operations level agreements with our 3rd party suppliers for Infra and NW services.
Meet the Expectations of Regional Leadership needs and End user satisfaction
Local SPOC for global / local infrastructure service delivery & projects touching the assigned region / sites. SPOC for escalations and exceptions for services delivered to assigned region / sites. Deployment, delivery and support of infrastructure and operations services as per SLA within budget
Monitors the existing technical infrastructure for possible improvements or necessary changes, to maintain ‘fit-for-purpose’ and security at all times. Vulnerability Diagnoses and problem solving, finding new ways to improve architecture and services, deliver input for standardization of infrastructure.
Act as a champion/promoter of the IT Infrastructure & Operations strategy, service portfolio and partner to the local business to help them meet their business needs and provide appropriate trainings.
Translate user demands for new services and architecture, leading small projects or a team with specialists and setting up helpdesk.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills / competencies and experience
In depth knowledge of E2E Infra and Network needs and managing the Medium to Large scale IT infrastructure
Extensive knowledge of infrastructure domain and service delivery aspects
10 – 15 years of relevant IT Infrastructure & Operations experience, with at least 4 years of independently managing infrastructure & operations of a business unit / a region, interfacing with senior business stakeholders.
Team player who can influence things and drive for results, with high customer focus
Good communication/negotiation skills
