You will be acting as a network engineer within SGS Global network activation center to achieve maximum customer satisfaction by making every GNAC activity efficient as possible in terms of success rates, SLA, projects delivery, and working process.
Your role will involve:
Performing network changes for SITA shared infrastructure network or dedicated customers' networks.
You will be actively performing daily audits for network changes executed by different GNAC teams. The purpose is to minimize the risk of change implementation problems or delays
You need to Act as technical escalation for projects/ changes executed by GNAC. this includes on call support on 24*7 support.
You will also be working with different SITA teams (such as practice, engineering , operation , customer representatives and local field operations)
Acting as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for projects/services when required.
Assisting in the Proof of Concepts and Pilot testing of New Services and Products where required.
Working withing GNAC teams for continuous service improvement and activities automation when needed.
You need to ensure simplification and consistency of working processes across all SGS and all contracts in line with ITSM standard identifying Product/Service deficiencies and future service requirements.
We would like it if you have the below qualifications, knowledge and experiences:
Technical knowledge and background (Telecommunications and Service Management)
4+ years of experience in Customer Service preferably in a global organization and Service Provider environment
2+ years of experience ISP core network, large routing/switching solutions.
Experience in IT Service Management processes and concepts
Experience of working in the Airport/Airline industry preferred
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, Communication, Electronic Engineering or equivalent Telecommunications in country qualification.
Should have at least 4+ years of IT experience and 2+ years in ISP core network
Cisco Certificates: CCNP is must.
Hands on experience for Cisco routers, switches and Firewalls is needed.
Should have hands on experience or attended courses for one or two of the following:
Juniper switches / Junos.
Palo Alto Firewalls.
Fortinet FortiGate firewalls
Python scripting knowledge is a plus.
