As Associate Recruiter, you will be responsible for creating and executing the recruiting strategy for Blackboard and collaborating with other HR counterparts, recruitment, compensation & benefits, employee relations, and learning & development professionals, both locally and internationally. Specifically, you will partner with the Senior Director of Global Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, and business leadership to ensure that recruiting is aligned with company business objectives, values, and principles. You will network extensively in the marketplace to ensure we have access to the best and brightest talent for every search around the globe. You will also be responsible for managing the full life-cycle recruiting process including acting as a candidate advocate by evaluating skill level, managing the offer process, making salary recommendations, and negotiating offers by partnering with Hiring Managers, senior management, and finance as necessary.
Additionally, you will be responsible for collaborating with the Sr. Director of Global Talent Acquisition to create compensation packages and closing offers. You will manage contingent and executive search firms when necessary. You will act as a resource for writing job postings, navigating the hiring process, and assisting with interviews.
Progressive corporate recruiting experience and/or experience in a search firm environment
Experience utilizing current online sourcing techniques and experience with networking and building pipelines
Ability to manage multiple clients and provide strong consultative skills throughout the search process
A track record of understanding business needs and providing hands-on full lifecycle recruiting
Highly organized and ability to pay close attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands
Experience working with applicant tracking systems
An understanding of recruiting budgeting process and general recruiting metrics
Knowledgeable in a wide range of current HR policies, practices, and trends
Excellent oral and written communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy to interact effectively with all levels of an organization including senior executives
An understanding of different roles in the technology sector
