Opportunity: India Cluster Learning Manager
Location: Bangalore, India
To be the talent development partner to the Cluster leadership in identifying and understanding relevant availability and potential of talent, understanding learning and needs and translating these into interventions to meet Cluster-specific requirements within the Human Resource Service Catalogue framework.
Leading and facilitating global initiatives for Coats and supporting others in the Cluster, including:
Senior manager, manager and supervisory training and culture development programmes
Delivering classroom and webinar training when needed;
Curating digital content for micro-learning with special focus on Minerva;
Building collaborative relationships by providing internal consultancy to solve performance challenges and facilitate learning interventions as needed, including:
Helping managers develop their teams to their full potential;
Helping individuals learn from their daily work and develop performance;
Generating assessment data using individual diagnostic tools to assess and recognise capability, providing robust feedback and road maps for improvement;
Completing general training needs analysis with teams and groups;
Designing, delivering and facilitating learning interventions in consultation with the Talent & Learning Business Partner and in line with global standards and offerings;
Creating campaigns to promote learning thereby developing an ecosystem of people, systems and resources to empower performance.
Helping individuals become independent continuous learners and enabling a continuous learning culture.
Supporting a psychologically safe environment that involves experimentation, sharing and learning from failure;
Supporting campaigns and systems to highlight the how and why of continuous learning, from growth mind-sets to reflective practices.
Facilitating the acquisition of ‘learning how to learn’ meta-skills.
Working alongside the Cluster Human Resource Business Partner:
To ensure excellence in performance management and talent acquisition process
To build workforce planning and manage the annual succession planning process including D&I and Sustainability initiatives
Leading the Sustainability efforts with the Cluster HRBP as part of the Social workstream for the Cluster
Education, Qualifications & Experience:
Qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in a Human Resource Management discipline
Excellent communication skills - handles complex and difficult situations with thought and confidence both verbally and in writing
Proven track record of providing learning solutions and running Organisational Development (OD) initiatives in large organisations (preferably multinational)
Speciality with e-learning platforms such as SuccessFactors, Minerva, Perform or other.
Deep understanding of organisational and individual human behaviour
Ability to grasp macro and micro aspects of business strategy and business plans and apply OD processes to support them
Knowledge of business, geography of markets and ability to contextualise for application OD processes to markets
Ability to initiate, manage relevant projects and deliver on expectations
Ability to influence non-hierarchically and build consensus through networking
Familiarity with Learning & Development and Organisational Design techniques and ability to grasp and implement new ones quickly
Basic appreciation of Cluster business processes such as manufacturing, sales and supply chain.
Fluent in English
Certification in areas of Learning & Development and/or Organisational Design
Accreditations from/Memberships of relevant professional development bodies (e.g. ATD, ISPI)
Working knowledge in most major Cluster languages
