Job Description:
The position of an ‘IT-Executive’ in Multi-Act encompasses two primary roles:

Assist the Multi-Act functional teams to maintain and develop proprietary research models and applications.
Manage the third party databases subscribed by Multi-Act

The candidate must be primarily able to understand organization’s internal research system and third party databases.
Develop,test and maintain Inhouse data models and applications for all functional teams in excel and database. Training users for these applications.
Implementing and Maintaining Internally built Back-Testing Systems by different teams.
Assist in the development and implementation of the internal research application of Multi-Act,MARKAS.
Assist the functional teams with data analytics.
Manage the third party database subscribed by Multi-Act. Including managing the entire helpdesk/support for third party databases.
Assist in managing DR/BCP policies for all tools and applications
Liaison with the IT infra management team and the Research support team of Multi-Act to ensure that all models are working and being used as desired.
Preparing MIS reports for all above
Administrating daily IT-Tasks for all of above.

Educational Qualifications:Must Have:
B.E (Computer/IT), BCA/MCA, /IT
Programming languages like VBA,VB, C,C++ and .Net
Advance level skill set with the Microsoft Office suite of products (2010/2013)
Certifications in Databases like SQL and/orOracle.Command over PL/SQL (Oracle / SQL Server)
Knowledge of R / Python will be an added advantage

Good to have:
MBA Finance
Knowledge of financial tools like Bloomberg, FactSet, ACE equity, Capitaline, Market view etc. would be given preference
CFA any level

Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
Ability to manage multiple requirements in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Team player, Courteous and helpful attitude.
Prepared to work at multiple locations as per Multi-Act’s requirement
High degree of integrity with sense of maintaining confidentiality of important files/data.

Minimum Work Experience:
2 to 3 years of experience as a software developer.
1 or more years of Experience in financial services company.

Primary & Secondary Reporting, as Applicable:
Primary – Head of IT
Secondary – Team Lead of the Development team
