The Salesforce AppExchange is the #1 B2B marketplace, and it is fuelled by the success of our Partners. Partners are a critical part of the Salesforce Ohana (Hawaiian for “family”) . Partners broaden the Trailblazer community to reach far beyond just the direct customers of Salesforce. Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) build applications leveraging the Salesforce platform to distribute on the AppExchange.
We are seeking a seasoned business development sales professional to join the India ISV sales team. The individual will be responsible for evangelising and selling the value of the AppExchange and contracting new high worth entrepreneurs to build impactful Applications for our customers. They will work alongside ISV teams including Partner Marketing, Technical Evangelism, and operational teams to manage a prospective partner throughout the recruitment and on-boarding lifecycle.
Develop and lead a strategy to target prospective ISV Partners.
Promote the value of the AppExchange to the C-suite.
Developing a vision and value proposition with seasoned entrepreneurs and executives who want to develop solutions for Salesforce customers and build a business with Salesforce.
Identify and work with seasoned, qualified entrepreneurs who want to launch a new venture.
Providing specific support to innovate and validate product ideas.
Develop a Go to Market strategy with new partners.
Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders across Marketing, Product, Sales, Legal and Finance.
Lead cross-functional ISV initiatives across Product, Engineering, Marketing and Sales.
Negotiate new ISV and OEM Partner contracts.
Success will be measured by time to value and time to revenue.
Previous experience in developing indirect/channel business, working with SAAS companies.
ISV/OEM experience preferable.
Problem solver that can work across functions and groups to find resolutions in opaque, complex situations.
Displays ample business acumen and executive presence.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent building and maintaining relationships internally as well as with our partners/prospects.
Self starter who can thrive in ambiguous environments.
Strong commercial and contractual acumen.
Strong time management skills.
Positive, proactive attitude.
Comfortable in high-pressure environments.
May have experience with Design Thinking and Business Model Design.
