Beasley Media Group: VP, Digital Sales (FT)
The VP, Digital Sales drives digital revenue directly and indirectly across three channels:
Leading Beasley’s Digital Direct team, the digital-only sales team tasked with selling ‘non-radio product’ to ‘non-radio advertisers’ in multiple US markets (including some BMG markets). This team is responsible for delivering a significant portion of Beasley Media Group’s annual digital revenue budget.
Overseeing Beasley’s efforts to optimize overall programmatic revenue, increasing performance and yield across our network of digital O&O assets.
Partnering with Beasley’s EVP of Sales and the Digital Sales Managers, Directors of Sales and other key personnel in Beasley’s 11 markets to help maximize the revenue generation of our Integrated Sales team, tasked with selling digital and radio advertising products in-market.
Reporting to the VP, Digital Sales are five digital revenue-focused direct reports- two Digital Sales Directors, a Director of Digital Client Services, a Director of National Digital Auto and a Director of Programmatic.
The successful candidate will be a proven leader who has demonstrated significant experience in leading large digital sales teams to generate significant digital revenue in the local media space, partnering with traditional media sales leadership to maximize local digital revenue, working closely with internal digital agency fulfillment teams, and collaborating with third-party extension and digital services partners.
Specific requirements of this position include:
Collaborate with the Chief Digital Officer, VP of Digital Operations, Director of Platforms, EVP of Sales, digital content team and the Beasley executive team to establish strategic direction, planning, and organizational structures to support the rapid growth of the Digital Direct team and the overall digital revenue attainment of the company.
Act as a subject-matter expert on all things digital- products, sales processes, market trends, external forces, etc.
Assist in facilitation of training across the digital landscape- products, processes, tools, systems, workflows, best practices, etc.
Develop impactful relationships with local market leadership, internal departments, and support personnel.
Be the ‘north star’ of the Digital Direct team- set the vision, guide the operations, challenge the process, maximize the output, and encourage the players.
Identify, recommend, and help implement partners, products, tools, integrations, and systems that will drive digital revenue across the sales organization.
Fully embrace the change and disruption inherent in a senior digital leadership role within a local media company.
Ability to travel as needed to markets, conferences, events and other key opportunities to represent Beasley.

Qualifications and skills required:
5-10 years’ experience in senior digital advertising sales leadership- prior experience in senior traditional media sales leadership (radio, TV, newspaper) a strong plus
Significant experience with pricing models, quota management, budget attainment and the ability to accurately forecast digital revenues
A great motivator, able to hold employees accountable and practice ‘radical candor’
A strategic, analytical thinker with the ability to analyze digital media trends and operationalize revenue generation programs
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships at all levels
Experienced with digital advertising metrics and best practices in digital campaign KPIs, analytics, attribution, and calculation of ROI/ROAS
Ability to thrive and lead amidst change
Self-starter, adept at working both independently and with a team
Flexible, able to meet short deadlines
Excellent computer skills – Microsoft Office products, CRM, sales enablement tools, Internet, social media
