The Operations process in the GSC is equipped with skills and competencies to seamlessly manage work that has been offshored to the GSCs from across LOCs, CCs and the Centre. The process is set up in a 24*7 environment and the geographic spread of work has been planned solicitously to ensure business continuity. The GSC aids in process simplification along with evaluating opportunities for migrations. You will be part of a team working 24x7 assisting vessels carrying Maersk reefer containers.
You will be assisting Maersk, Chartered and partner vessels on queries pertaining to Reefer unit’s malfunctions and spare requirements.
You will be providing technical support to vessels in need and to arrange for shore assistance for vessels thereby ensuring the cargo stays in the manner the customers desired for. Your expertise would be to provide normal and emergency repair instructions for vessels considering the spares they possess. You would be the best judge in ensuring whether a repair can be done on-board or a shore assistance needs to be offered.
You would also be a part of handling queries from vessels over Reefer spare parts. You will liaise with OEMs, vendors and stakeholders in arranging spare parts and for reviewing spare allowances for vessels. You would further be responsible for handling warranty of reefer parts, core returns on reefer parts, arrangement of spares of partner vessels, recovery of spares from partner vessels, arranging of kits to phasing in vessels and collection of kits from phase out vessels. You will also be handling invoices pertaining to all the above said services from vendors, agents and OEMs.
You would collaborate with different stakeholders, vendors and agents in ensuring all the reefers are maintained as per our customer requirements and ensure the team develops the talents and future projects.
We are looking for
A graduate or post-graduate in Electrical, Electronics, Communication and/or instrumentation engineering.
5+ years of service on Maersk container vessels handling, maintaining and troubleshooting reefer units on-board vessels.
Expertise on handling reefer machineries.
