The role is of a senior [developer in Exchange Layer application used globally, primarily on Informatica PowerCenter and Sybase ASE platforms. Position will be based in India as part of a global team spread across India and UK.
Responsibilities
Analyze and interpret requirement specifications received from BA
Liaise with BA to ensure correct understanding and implementation of specifications
Design and develop IT solutions based on the specifications received
Work closely in a “one team” approach with all stakeholders during all phases of the SDLC, jointly providing high quality deliverables
Participate in the testing phases (system, user acceptance, regression…) as required while coordinating with BA, IT and QA teams
Provide support to operations from a technical perspective as per the defined internal rota
Undertake release manager responsibilities as per the defined internal rota
Secondary –
SQL / Sybase ASE or any other RDBMS
Scripting (PowerShell / Perl / Unix)
