Manage UNIX and related Infrastructure and work on issues and support tickets routed by level 2
team and by TI customers.
o Manage Veritas Foundation suite of products, Solaris Volume Manager, etc.
o Configuration/Troubleshooting of Naming services, NIS, NIS+, LDAP, on UNIX infrastructure
o Support infrastructure for web and application servers such as Tomcat and Apache
o Collaborate with worldwide Team members/customers, attend team meetings and engage with
global L2/L3 teams
o Interface with vendors to resolve bugs / apply patches, etc.
o Automation of day-day run-maintain activities using shell/Perl/VB scripts
o Provide daily support and troubleshooting for test and production hardware, software, and
o Monitor emails routed to level-3 team, convert them to tickets and work towards resolution
o Follow Change Compliance through TI change Management process and procedures
