Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for the service-quality standards and adherence to budgetary requirements of the following:

Security Monitor and control for budgetary compliance
Materials Monitor and control for budgetary compliance
Engineering Monitor and control for budgetary compliance
Hospital Support Services Monitor and control for budgetary compliance and quality levels
IT Administrative review and Allocation for infrastructure

Ancillary business services Manage Ancillary business services or monitor vendors

CBU Prepare the daily business report of the hospital and communicate it to the management

Responsible for managing and ensuring coordination within support services to deliver on quality standards
o Coordinate with the Head Medical to ensure service quality
o Coordinate projects specially related to the functionalities required at the project side
Act as custodian of all government and statutory compliances for non medical services
Short-list, train, schedule and motivate all manpower (including contracted) for all non-clinical departments (that come under incumbent's direct purview) and get maximum output with respect to time and service standards.
o Manage inter-departmental communication; resolve disputes and/or operational working issues
o Assess and ensure performance level of staff People-assessment, efficiency etc
o Identify needs and ensure continuing professional competence for self and staff
o Appraise performance by rewarding and taking disciplinary actions
Plan and control overall administration budget Compliances
o Establish and monitor process compliance
o Prepare and monitor the department budget
Participate in/Convene following unit-level committees as required
To act as an Ethic Counselor for Fortis hospital
Hold responsibility for service-quality standards and adherence to budgetary restrictions of Security, Housekeeping, Food & Beverages, Materials, Engineering, Hospital Support Services, Information Technology, Ancillary business services, Biomedical Equipment
Manage and supervise coordination within support services to deliver on required quality standards & as per Standard Operative Procedures
Act as custodian of all government and statutory compliances for non-medical services
Short-list, train, schedule and motivate all manpower (including contracted) for all non-clinical departments (that come under incumbent's direct purview) and get maximum output with respect to time and service standards
Plan and control overall budget compliances.
Provide safe & secure environment in the hospital for patients, visitors & staff. Planning all security protocol and monitoring system, material management, emergency systems , death documentation etc.
Any other tasks assigned by the HOD and the Management
Required Education:
MBA,
Preferred Education:
Preferred MHA or post graduate
Experience:08 to 10 Years Experience (5-7 years experience as Hospital Administrator in similar or larger hospital)

Knowledge and Specific Skills:
Knowledge about NABH standard, ISO standard, JCI, Auditing skills, Analytical skills
Proficient in MS office Behavioural :

3. Negotiation Skills
