Mandate Skills: Strong in SQL Query Writing, IIS , Windows,Client Handling
5+ years of deep experience troubleshooting complex issues in production enterprise environments
Experience deploying, supporting, and troubleshooting relational databases, especially MS SQL Server and its supporting infrastructure
Working knowledge of Internet Information Services (IIS) 6/7/7.5
Understanding of TCP/IP networks, network load balancers and firewalls
Familiarity with corporate Mail servers and related infrastructure, especially Microsoft Exchange
In depth expertise analyzing System logs, Event Logs, Network Traces etc.
Strong ability to identify whether an issues root cause is environmental or in the product
Willingness to work closely with customers
Ability and willingness to mentor and collaborate with other engineers
Fluency in written and spoken English, ability to communicate complex technical issues in a way thats easily consumable by customers, other engineers, and management
Practical knowledge of SaaS or Hosted solutions and their architectures
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Primarily Receive and take ownership of incoming client queries via telephone and email, chat including the investigation thereof, or control the investigation of problems and provide remote assistance/fix when required.
2. Provide functional and technical support to customers.
3. Investigate and provide root cause analysis of defects.
4. Develop an in-depth functional know-how and work flows of the product.
5. Develop a customer centric approach and ability to multi-task.
6. Log issues into tracking system and monitor through to closure.
7. Review and research of issues that arise.
8. Pro-active communication of the status of those issues with the customers.
9. Collaborate with Product Engineering and Professional services & other teams in analyzing complex product issues.
10. Document solutions and known issues as part of day to day activity
