Role & Responsibilities
End-to-End Build & Configuration Management for multiple Projects
Maintains a release repository and maintain key information such as build and release procedures,Branches, Code baseline, dependencies, changes etc.
Learn and adopt new technologies to improve the efficiency and accuracyof the process and the quality of deliverables.
Continually work towards making improvements in the release process
Compliance to Quality Management System and Design Controls.
1.2 Desired Profile
B.Tech/B.E/M.C.A/M.Tech/MS. - Computers, Electronics/Telecommunications
5 to 7 years of experience in Build/Release and Configuration management in Windows environment.
Solid experience in the set up and managementof CI/CD environmentusingJenkins.
Hands on experience of working withMSBuild for build management.
Experience in managing SCCS like Git,Bitbucket, Rational ClearCase and SVN.
Well versed with Defect tracking tools likeAtlassian JIRA and Rational ClearQuest.
Experience in developing software configuration approaches and maintenance of the SCM library and processes.
Hands on experience in managing and automating Windows registry, group policies, windows firewall, event logs and other system level configurations.
Experience of creating software packages likeMSI, WIM and ISOfor distribution.
Write scripts using languages like Batch file,Powershell and VBScript.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Must be an excellent team player and able to work with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of C#.Netand development tools like Visual Studio 2012/2015.
Knowledge of setting CI/CD for Web & Cloud (AWS/Azure) environments.
Knowledge of third party tools like FxCop andNUnit.
Programming or scripting experience in an UNIX environment (C++, Perl, Shell scripts). Experience with makefiles (ClearMake, GNUmake).
Knowledge of tools like Ansible, Maven and Gradle.
Knowledge of Certificates Management for signing software distribution packages.
