Sr. Process Engineer- Desalination System
Technical support to the Pre-Contract and Project Delivery teams on matters concerning the design, construction and operation of desalination plants and associated equipment
Technical evaluation of tender submissions and report preparation
Review and preparation of monthly and quarterly construction progress reports
Site supervision of installation, testing and commissioning activities for desalination plants.
Review of method statement submitted by contractors for desalination plants site activities.
Reporting and monitoring of site progress to Project manager / client.
Warranty defect follow up with contractors
Participate in meetings with clients and contractors when needed
Maintain an awareness of technological advances and industry best practice
Knowledge of health & safety requirements and compliance.
Process design for desalination system based on SWRO
Knowledge of pre- and post- treatment processes
Must have worked on large desalination plants projects preferable across Middle East
Experience in selection of mechanical / BOP equipment
Preparation of technical specifications for desalination plants
Design review of desalination plants (process, mechanical and BOP)
Validation of specific calculation procedures for desalination plants/equipment
Familiarity with relevant international standards
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Good computer skills
