Sr. Executive - Internal Audit

Job Description

Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance, or Professional Degree in accounting preferably with professional accounting certification such as CPA, CIA preferred
Experience: 4- 6 years of relevant working experience
CTC: Approx: Rs. 4 Lakhs

Job Specification:
1.Industry Knowledge-Specific knowledge of industry trends and practices
Extensive knowledge and exposure to accounting standards, taxation, audit, and other regulatory financing reporting requirements.
Knowledge of ISO quality systems will be an advantage
Working knowledge of internal audit processes and implementation
Working in the construction industry only and interest to travel.

2.Areas of Responsibility

Internal Audit Implementation
Execute audit assignments with emphasis on assisting the Company in achieving effective risk management, internal control and good corporate governance.
Report critical internal control problems to the Management for Audit Committees discussion with necessary facts, information and recommendations /alternatives.
Prepare audit reports which are clear, concise and well-organized, and issued within departmental service standards, including executive summary and rating of adequacy of risk management, making practical and value-added recommendations to improve risk management practices and the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
Conduct follow-up reviews to establish the extent of which recommendations have been implemented.
Coordinate internal audit program with the Companys internal and external auditors when necessary.
Assist with the development of audit programmes and questionnaires for use during audit fieldwork.
Maintain a database which logs issues or deficiencies as well as monitoring controls to ensure that corrective actions are being implemented.
Assist business unit management by providing risk management consulting support and risk management education and training.

People Management
Assist new staff and track work progress of assigned subordinates to ensure that on the job training is adequately provided to perform on the job.

Quality Compliance
Adhere to relevant policies, procedures and work instructions as defined in the Company's Quality System.
