Job Description

CORPORATE ACTIONS & TRADING:
Hands on experience on all Corporate Action activity and process all requests for Tenders, Exchanges, Puts and Conversions.
Thorough knowledge on Private deals, Trading, Bank debt Amendments, Bankruptcies.
Should be able to assist in Cost allocations.
Working with Geneva would be an added advantage.
Manage and monitor all customer accounts for Mergers, Reverse Splits, and Stock Dividends. Proxy Votes when necessary.
Bank debt events
Experience on Mandatory & Voluntary Corporate Actions
Strong Communication required to interact on a daily basis, and liaise with various internal departments such as Client Services, Stock Lending, Settlements, Treasury, Risk, Compliance and Audit
Should be able to additionally, contact with external parties such as Clients, Investment Managers, trading and lending counterparties
Ensure that departmental controls, checklists, policies and procedures are adhered to by team members
Perform end of day checks to ensure that all queues, aging items and checklists have been reviewed and updated by the team
Assist in facilitating the day-to-day workflow within the team to support Online business units as well as Offshore Managers

The Ideal Candidate
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or finance preferred
Experience - Minimum 5 years
Minimum 1 years working experience on Geneva accounting system.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Excellent facilitation, mediation, negotiation, and persuasion skills
Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with individuals internally, with our global custodians, and market data providers
Ability to organize, prioritize workflow and direct operations
Strong attention to detail, quality, and organizational skills
Proven ability work under pressure in a dynamic environment
Ability to motivate staff, promote a culture of accountability, organize workflow, manage resources, and change
Ability to set direction and guide staff to desired results
