The major requirement for this role is to assist our inter-regional development team with Database designing, modelling, advice, assessing and performance turning databases whilst also assisting with .NET development.
Your skills in conceptualizing solutions while working with minimal oversight will enable you to thrive in our constantly evolving environment. You will need the ability to work as a team member and be able to assist the development team in assessing the needs of the business users, developing extensible solutions to meet those needs and applying best-practices in developing those solutions will be critical to your success in this role.
Required Knowledge & Skills:
10+ years experience in MS SQL Server Development, Design, Performance Tuning, coding experience in Stored Procedures, Views, Functions and Data Migration is mandatory.
Experience in SSRS, SSIS is mandatory.
MS SQL Server 2008R2, 2014, 2016
Strong concepts of database architecture.
Experience in handling end to end database projects.
Experience in Datawarehousing
Solid experience in Database migration, integration and version up-gradation projects.
Solid understanding of Enterprise Security model in SQL Server (all versions).
Extensive experience in data modeling and designing databases.
Knowledge or Backup procedures, logging, query optimizations, performance monitoring.
Experience in performance tuning SQL Server databases.
Experience in writing/testing/QAing efficient Stored Procedures and queries.
Good knowledge of latest programming tools, techniques, constructs and features in 2008R2 and 2014.
Experience in working on AGILE platforms
Demonstrated ability in leading team of DB developers
Demonstrated ability in working through the full development life cycle.
Exposure to .NET technologies is desirable.
Microsoft certifications in SQL is desirable.
