Position Title : Service Engineer
Reporting To : Manager ? Service
Job Location : Ahmedabad / Jamnagar
Purpose of Function
The objective of the position is to handle all service related issues of the customers, maintain & Calibrate equipment?s as per the standards; and to generate revenues through Annual Maintenance Contracts, spares sales & training customers on the Products. The position also supports the management in getting the required approvals from the authorities.
Tasks and Responsibilities
SERVICE & REPAIR : 50%
Installation, Commisioning & Demnonstration of Fixed Gas detection systems & Protection Equipments.
Ensure minimum dowtime of eqipments,Providing the Service & Maintainence on Clients for Portable Gas Detectors, Fixed Gas detection system & Protection equipments
Calibration of Portable Gas Detectors & Fixed Gas detection systems as per the AMC schedule & end user requirement
Preparing & maintaining records of Calibration & Inspection of equipements & updating the same in Navsion.
REVENUE GENERATION:- 25%
Generate revenue through AMC?s, Spare Sales, Training customers & Distributors on Company?s Products.
Internal Co ordination :- 10%
Working collaboratively with Sales, Commercial , Operations department and other internal staffs;
Liaising with clients, suppliers, contractors and relevant authorities.
Quality Compliance : 15%
Understanding and ensuring compliance with the health and safety regulations and quality standards as per company norms.
Providing advice and consultancy support to Customers , DSR?s
Develop customer relationships and understand customer needs.
Position Requirements :
Education : Engineering Graduates (Degree/Diploma) in Electronic or
Related Experience : Experience in handling Portable Gas detectors & Fixed Gas detection Systems or Protection Equipment?s
