The Application Certification Center Manager leads the team of highly qualified applications security specialists to drive security and compliance of applications . This includes:
Plan and run operations of the Center in a smooth and predicted way.
Hiring and coaching team members, setting goals and priorities.
Advising team members on application security and compliance assessments and controls. Playing a hands-on role performing these activities for complex cases.
Managing capacity planning and forecasting the global applications demand and teams performance with a continuous improvement approach
Establishing metrics and reporting
Ensuring that project delivery teams get excellent service which helps them to identify IT security and data protection risks.
Guaranteeing that the Center executes controls that applications are compliant with security requirements, or that sufficient compensating controls have been put in place to mitigate identified risks and thus achieve compliance.
Building and maintaining communications with a network of experts including Global Information Security team representatives while conducting risk assessments or executing controls of complex applications.
Understanding the general IT security policies of the company by working with the Global IT Security Team
Designing standard operational procedures and training team members on processes and best practices.
Constantly improving risk assessment processes, security and compliance controls.
Selecting and deploying tools for performing technical threat and vulnerability assessments.
Performing technical threat vulnerability assessments of most critical applications.
Driving adoption of Secure Development Lifecycle and secure development practices in IPO
Working with the Product Security Office as well as the GIS team to keep up to date with IPO standards, policies and tools
