Job Description

Responsible for achieving business targets for open market liabilities (across all products)
Ensure 100% conversion of existing borrowers for liabilities
Guide the field staff for pitching liabilities products to existing customers
Train branch staff/customers on:
a) Liabilities products,
b) Usage of alternate channels
c) Cross-selling

Primary Responsibilities:

Business:
Responsible for driving business targets for liabilities products (esp. from open market customers) at the SFB branch and associated CSPs and UBRB
Actively drive conversion of existing customers for liabilities by coaching the sales officers and unsecured branch team
Set weekly/monthly targets for the sales officers, review the set targets on a regular basis
Generate leads for secured loans and third party products from open market liability
Follow up on leads provided by call center within defined TAT
Assess the market potential and give feedback on product modification and new product development to the regional product teams
Share insights on competitor products to the regional product/marketing teams
Act as the dedicated point of contact for the walk in customers; address queries pertaining to liabilities
Execute the marketing initiatives designed by products and marketing department
Service Quality:
Ensure customers are educated about the liabilities products offered by Ujjivan
Resolve customer queries/grievances (pertaining to CA/SA, FD / RD, remittances and third party products) escalated from the field staff within specified time frame
Undertake initiatives to increase the products per customer
Operations:
Oversee collection of documents for account opening in strict adherence to KYC norms
Keep abreast of the changes in policies and guidelines by RBI, ensures his/her team is educated on the changes to ensure strict adherence
Conduct joint business calls/field meetings with field staff to convert customers for liabilities
Responsible for correct storage of client information and any other documentation inclusive internal reports, memos etc.
Learning and Performance :
Coach the branch staff on liabilities products and support them in conversion of existing customers, lead generation and cross selling of deposit products
Build a team of Liabilities Sales Officers, mentors and motivate them to achieve the targets.
Ensure goal-setting, midyear -review and annual appraisal process happens within
specified timelines for self and reportee
Establish and oversee communication system between the asset sales and deposit sales teams to ensure no leakage of leads and seamless customer experience
Role Requirements:

Desired Qualification:
Graduate in Commerce/Business/Economics or related subjects with good analytical and sales skills to be considered.

Desired Experience:
Preferred experience of 4+ years in banking, sales or collection.

Knowledge on liabilities and third party products
Basic Computer knowledge (MS Office, Outlook) / Ease of technology usage
Sales and marketing skills across multiple products
KYC norms/guidelines for liabilities
