Develops & implements - strategic marketing-sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail.
Ensures effective control of marketing results, and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.
Identify and qualify new business leads and approach new customers from the injection moulding / extrusion / blow moulding / rotomoulding / automotive parts industries.
Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
Monitors competitor products, sales and marketing activities.
Guides preparation of marketing activity reports and presents to executive management.
Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
Directs market channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
Prepares periodic sales report (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Half-Yearly, Yearly) showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
Reviews and analyses sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.
Generate new leads by cold calls, scheduling appointment, visiting potential clients/companies, ensuring closure.
Payment cycles, and collection follow up needs to be maintained and logged as prime responsibility.
Desirable Knowledge and Skills:
Should be a self-starter with a track record of meeting and exceeding aggressive sales targets.
Should be fluent in English, writing and speaking.
Demonstrable experience of technical sales and/or business development working in a matrix sales environment.
