Develop and execute Safety, Health & Environment (=SHE) plans in the workplace according to legal requirement.
Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of SHE.
Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law.
Conduct training and presentations for SHE matters and accident prevention.
Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations.
Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions.
Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle workers compensation claims.
Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures.
Report on SHE awareness, issues and statistics.
Work closely with Management in the SHE Policy and Guidelines issue.
Support the Organisation in defining the roles and responsibilities, for the concerns safety aspects.
Support the management in the SHE management system standard issue.
Ensures, in accordance with the Corporate guidelines, the implementation, updating, review and auditing of the Company SHE Systems.
Monitors the effective implementation of appropriate Safety and Environment
System procedures and provide for their updating in line with changes in Legislation and Company Directives.
Provides for motivation and familiarization of all Company personnel respecting the importance of complying with Company system procedures and all Safety equipment provided.
Assists the Commercial, Engineering and Operations Department in their dealings with Clients in all issues concerned with SHE at work.
Conducts safety audits both internal and external.
Carries out analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans.
Provides technical support to Senior Management on any safety related subjects.
Carries out any in-house safety training.
Carries out safety audits on Sub-contractors.
Liaises between Clients on safety related issues.
Performs Risk Assessment.
Preparation of Health and Safety documentation for new tenders.

Strictly following the work permit system and ensure the permits
Plant rounds and find out the unsafe condition and unsafe act
Conducting safety committee meeting.
Conducting training program for employees and contractors regarding safety information
Monitoring work place exposure using personal sampler, Dragger tube, Pass port
PID, Explosive meter, Sound level meter and lux meter.
Maintaining the safety instruments.
Maintaining the safety department records
Organizing emergency training like mock drill and wet drill.
Report preparation (Monthly, Annual and level-l&II audit reports)
Checking of all safety system like safety shower, extinguishers fire hydrant system.
Displaying EHS information in communicating board.
Personal protective stock maintenance.
Controlling the first aid activities
Maintaining ISO-9001, OHSAS-18001 and ISO 14001 documents.
Safety day celebration activities.
Preparation of On-site emergency plan.
Preparations of department SOPs
Induction training to the New employees
Contractors safety management system
