Sell the MSE Loan Products & Services, i.e. Term Loans, Working Capital and related products
Lead Generation Conduct regular marketing and sales activities to generate leads from the identified markets and also from existing customer base of Ujjivan
Assessment of Leads- Evaluate the leads generated: includes analyzing credit histories &basic financial analysis by adhering to internal and external regulations
Dealing with the Customers- Engage with the customers at the front end to ensure smooth conversions from lead stage to disbursement and also repayment, recovery and retention.
Monitoring, Renewals & Maintenance- Carry out monitoring visits, maintain oversight on the conduct of the accounts and take up for renewal of loans/limits as per account conduct
Enhancement of relationship- Cross-sell Ujjivansproducts (such as CA/SA) including 3rd party products (such as insurance) as per the profile & need of the customers
There were many microfinance institutions active in rural India, but very few served... India’s urban population. To bridge this gap, Ujjivan focused on the urban poor. This is a fast growing segment that is relatively new to India’s microfinance industry. Our surveys and interaction with the urban poor show that they are exposed to enormous contingencies and are required to share their meagre resources with neighbors, friends, relatives and colleagues. Hence, there is a tremendous amount of bonding and affinity among them. We have also found that, contrary to popular belief, the urban poor are a stable population. Therefore, the significant difference between the urban and rural population is the lack of time and availability of space in cities. Read full description
