The Talent Acquisition Specialist supports the complete and strategic approach to identifying and attracting top employment candidates to successfully meet FSL Mortgage business requirements. This position reports directly to the Talent Acquisition Manager and is responsible for assisting in building talent pipelines by utilizing a diverse sourcing strategy to include: social media, job boards, data mining techniques, job fairs, referrals, networking while continually identifying new pipelines through research. While working closely with the Talent Acquisition Managers, this person will also utilize creative and outside-the-box sourcing techniques in order to identify hard to find, top talent.
Proactively build a network of candidates that can quickly fill frequently posted positions.
Build a database of qualified candidates for key talent positions.
Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Managers to develop and execute sourcing strategies aimed at generating local candidate flow to meet overall recruiting needs.
Develop effective communication plans to potential applicants in a compelling and professional manner.
Source and refer passive candidates through networking, cold calling, complex internet searches, social media, reverse posting, name generation etc. to requisition owner.
Assist in creating methods that continually improve candidate relationship management
Actively source candidates leveraging social media channels and creative sourcing techniques to attract talent and develop candidate engagement for current and future opportunities.
Collaborate with TA management and internal marketing partners to align consumer and employment brand.
Identify and utilize niche sites to find passive candidates.
Promote the Organization as the employer of choice to all potential candidates by providing information regarding the Company, culture, benefits, and opportunity.
Assist TA Coordinator with on-boarding paperwork to ensure deadlines are met, as needed.
Support Talent Acquisition Team on employment campaigns and creative special event recruiting to meet business needs in acquiring talent.
Proactive in continuous process improvements in a demanding and rapidly changing business environment.
Post and manage job postings for multiple job boards.
Assist Talent Acquisition Manager with the creation of job postings including the utilization of job board best practices and search engine optimization.
Update candidate disposition in the Applicant Tracking System
Identify issues and resolutions related to the recruitment process and share with management to determine next steps.
Act as an active participant in departmental project work as assigned by Manager.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Business Management or similar discipline preferred. Or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
Job Related Experience: 2 - 4+ years of progressive Human Resources experience. 2+ years recruitment experience in full cycle recruiting capacity. Mortgage industry knowledge, a plus. Experience working with applicant tracking systems required
