Job Description

Liaise and coordinate with key stakeholders of the project to ensure all deliverables met to schedule.
Key stakeholders include Design& Engineering team vendors- client-directors. Manage and supervise fabrication process at Vendor units as well as implementation & execution on site
Governance and decision-making Steer project deliverables and ensure tasks move forward keeping key stakeholders and directors in the loop. Ensure follow up meetings held / phone calls made as required to ensure project deliverables on track
People and their responsibilities Ensure the right people & vendors allocated to carry out tasks. Clearly define roles for everyone working on the project. Quality assurance to be obtained from all stakeholders
Stakeholder management Manage the expectations and commitment levels of all stakeholders. Ensure all stake holders communicate effectively and regularly.
Quality control and finance Ensure all costs are approved and within budget. Ensure good processes and checks in place to control quality and costs.
Planning and control Define dependencies for project deliverables and deadlines, determine resources required, effectively manage and control change. Have contingency plans in place.
Risk and issue management Must have a proactive approach to identifying and managing risks and issues. Pre-empt issues and flag concerns in a timely manner
Reports and reviews Provide periodic project status updates to key stakeholders. Conduct periodic reviews and monitor deadlines and deliverables. Follow up on pending action points.
Documentation Create project plan, logs, reports, minutes of meetings/reviews
Third party management Manage all external stakeholders effectively tracking deliverables and deadlines.
Have Service Level Agreements/ Time schedule/ Penalties as required and/or applicable.
Be able to handle multiple projects, manage work load & keep production / deliverables on track
Excellent at scheduling timelines with a talent for pushing the project along, keeping everything on track. Manage work schedule.
Manage project plans, timelines, resources, costs and budgets
Visiting the project site to check progress and inspect the work
Vendor Management and visits to vendors factory/premises to check progress & inspect work. Ensure the project is completed to agreed specifications and and to manage design /execution issues which may arise on site.
Manage all phases of work place projects, including project set-up, design and construction administration
Supply design team with survey input
Finalize method statements for executing
Faciliate billing and certification.
