Job Role: Program Manager Research & Development
Job brief:
Parinaam is looking for a qualified Research & Development Manager to join its R&D Team. The person will be responsible for researching, creating, improving and maintaining content to achieve the organizations goals along with liaising with vendors for outsourced work. An ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with demonstrable creative writing skills and who can also plan, organize, direct, control and coordinate research and development activities within the organization. As a R&D Manager, the person should perform well under deadlines and be detail-oriented.
Research and develop content strategy aligned with the organizations long term and short term goals. To name a few goals:
Life skill Training Content for underprivileged children State and Central Government Benefits for our ultra-poor beneficiaries
Spoken English Content for underprivileged children
Financial Literacy Training Curriculum for underprivileged women, men, children and Unbanked Rural Centres
Create engaging content
Collaborate with the internal teams to understand their needs before researching and developing strategies and policies
Collaborate with partners in case the work is outsourced to a third party
Stay up-to-date with the current socio-economic developments/government policies to generate new ideas/benefits for the ultra-poor beneficiaries
Graduate or Post Graduate in Media & Communication or Marketing with at least 5 years of relevant work experience
Excellent Writing Skills in English
Hands on experience with MS Office and MS Power Point. WordPress Knowledge is not must but can be an added advantage
Experience in creating in-classroom training curriculums would be an added advantage

There were many microfinance institutions active in rural India, but very few served... India’s urban population. To bridge this gap, Ujjivan focused on the urban poor. This is a fast growing segment that is relatively new to India’s microfinance industry. Our surveys and interaction with the urban poor show that they are exposed to enormous contingencies and are required to share their meagre resources with neighbors, friends, relatives and colleagues. Hence, there is a tremendous amount of bonding and affinity among them. We have also found that, contrary to popular belief, the urban poor are a stable population.
