Oversees the Manufacturing Engineering Department within a plant.
Ensures engineering projects are completed within budgetary and scheduling guidelines.
Provides hiring, promotion and disciplinary action recommendations, as well as performance evaluation and feedback for direct reports.
Reviews and evaluates department processes and procedures for continuous improvement.
Responsible for Process Engineering, Project Engineering, Continuous Improvement, and/or Maintenance.
Evaluation, and makes final determination on (with input from plant manager) the process recommendations of engineers to ensure they are accurate and consistent with the organization's short-term production plans.
Leads the most complex, large, or difficult process engineering projects and develops innovative approaches to production problems.
Estimation of cost, time and resources required for repair projects; prepares work orders and monitors the progress of work against estimates.
Monitors industry trends and developments in engineering technology and makes recommendations on equipment/systems investments.
Leads and directs manufacturing engineering department.
Responsible for achieving department goals and objectives, and development of employees.
Strong Knowledge of Motor manufacturing adhering to efficiency regulation/ norms.
Good Technical Knowledge & ability to upgrade on Modern Techniques related to Manufacturing & Quality activities.
