Good knowledge and experience with: TCP/IP, Cisco IOS, LAN/WAN/WLAN, Ethernet switching, routing protocols.
Monitoring and maintenance of Router and switch architecture, configuration and support.
Monitoring and maintenance of Wireless network architecture, implementation, and support.
Customer connectivity support via Internet VPN, MPLS, or other dedicated network.
Perform basic troubleshooting of P1/P2 incidents and escalate to the next level as needed.
Perform troubleshooting of P3/P4 tickets and resolve them within the stipulated SLAs.
Knowledge of ITIL process (Incident and Change Managements).
Automate and do proactive monitoring of WAN circuits through the monitoring tools. Liaise with global service providers in the event of circuit failures and performance degradation to restore the services to normal state.
Be familiar with Small to Medium sized Datacenter design logic and to be able to co-relate with Corporate Standards Published.
Participative in on-call support on weekends on rotation basis.
Should be multi-tasking and able to adapt to the priorities changing with the business requirements.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology or a related study.
Experience of 4-6 years of relevant experience.
Effective interpersonal skills and reasonably good verbal and written English communication skills. Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret functional requirements and modify our systems to satisfy those requirements.
Willingness to intermittently travel, both domestic and international.
Associate Cisco certification (CCNA Routing & Switching) is mandate and Professional (CCNP) certification would be an added advantage.
