Responsible for Team Development,Sales targets achievement, Prescription Enhancement & business expansion of Acute Segment in the assigned area
Key Result Areas / Accountabilities
Achieving overall sales & gross profit & net profit objectives of the division by cost control developing and implementing strategies and providing leadership and guidance to the Team Members in concerting strategies into clear action plans for implementation.
Achieve sales and market share growth objectives by identifying and pursuing new market opportunities, and pursuing growth opportunities in existing markets.
Monitoring primary and secondary sales and marketing activities; implementing effective strategies to maximize sales and accomplishment of targets.
Achieve sales growth objective by monitoring productivity of employees (Sales PMPM data) and accordingly developing the team members.
To achieve sales objective by effectively managing sales team.
Sales Forecast & ensuring availability of all stocks at various C&F locations as per sales plan.
Facilitate inventory management and sales planning at the territory level by providing rolling forecasts.
Monitor and control field force related expenses.
Understanding and analysis of competitor behavior, marketing / communication strategies, market trends of the drug and competitor promotional support.
Developed and executed various marketing strategies to create Brand Development and enhance the corporate image.
Provide feedback on market conditions and competitors' activities.
Ensuring minimal deviation and corrective measures for reaching organizational goals.
Recruitment of Field Force, identifying Training & Development needs of Team & conducting Training program with Training Department.
To train & coach the Team members to bring in optimal effectivity in the market place.
To create a conducive atmosphere for improved performance by inducing team spirit and competitiveness.
Coordinated with various internal departments ensuring quality services for customer development, satisfaction and retention
Essential Educational : B.Sc/B.Pharm or MBA
Desired Experience: 15 to 25 years of experience in Pharma sales out of which at least four years experience as a Zonal Sales Head. Experience of handling larger volume of acute therapeutic segment is mandatory.
