o Responsible for compliance to all banks policies, manuals & circulars as per the RBI/ Basel/ UCPDC norms, taking care of procedures and controls at the branch level.
o Take care of Branchs overall compliance to KYC, AML, CFT, FEMA, FATCA and CRS norms and reporting to Head Office on periodical basis.
o To liaise with empanelled legal experts / empanelled valuers for credit and administration related issues.
o To check for income leakage at the branch level with regard to customer service and credit related issues and take measures to control it.
o Check whether the credit policies and local laws have been complied with regard to Credit sanction and servicing in order to safeguard the banks interest.
o Preparing compliance reports for the branch for reporting to HO.
o Facilitating Concurrent audit as well as periodically audit the procedures of the branch for early recognition of risk and suggest appropriate action for mitigation of risks.
o To report risk instances of the branch with various committees at HO like Management Committee, ALCO, Risk Management Committee, Fraud Management Committee etc. for on time identification of risk and mitigation.
o To prepare / check for compliance of the branch with the various operational risk policies including customer rights policy, customer service policy, customer information security, IT support etc.
o To create awareness with the branch employees on code of conduct, operational procedures and mitigation of operational risk etc.
