DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Room for cleaning.
• Bed making.
• Dusting of the room and furniture.
• Replenishes guestroom and bath supplies.
• Bathroom cleaning.
• Public area cleaning.
• Replenish amenities according to the operational standards.
• Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests e.g. iron and ironing boards
• Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of his work area.
• Responsible for the Hotel property in the work area.
• Attends to guest calls, guest requests /guest complaints in the area assigned to him.
• Responsible for following the standard operating procedures.
• Responsible for achieving and exceeding the guest satisfaction score.
Salary 6-8k/ month

Responsibilities and Duties
• Establish work standards and procedures for housekeeping staff and ensure they adhere to it
• Screens/interview housekeeping job applicants, hire new employees, and recommend promotion and/or transfer of employees if and when the need arises
• Take stock of available inventory so as to ensure a steady supply of work materials
• Assign duties to workers and inspect already completed tasks so as to ensure compliance with already stated housekeeping standards
• Make recommendations to help improve housekeeping services within the organization
• Personally carry out housekeeping duties in the case of any form of emergency/urgency, and/or shortage of staff
• Examine the building/area so as to determine areas that need repairs and/or maintenance
• Record and keep data regarding work assignments, and also prepare reports on a routine basis
• Responsible for issuing work equipment and supplies to the housekeeping staff/workers.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Experience - Minimum 3 years in Housekeeping Supervisor Post.

• Identifies & develops new products, equipment & amenities to enhance the product quality.
• Prepares capital and operational expenditure budgets for Housekeeping.
• Prepares repair schedules for rooms, keeping in mind optimum utilization of room inventory.
• Responsible for all departmental master keys.
• Directs the organization of work within the department, including assignments, time schedules and vacations.
• Ensures quality of all hotel uniform and linen and controls issues, returns, alterations, purchases etc.
• Ensures quality of housekeeping supplies to the hotel by approving samples that meet standards and specifications.
Qualifications: Diploma/ Degree in Hotel Management

Experience: 5-10 years


PREREQUISITES:
Physical mobility and stamina required, Ability to follow instruction, Detail-oriented, Professional attitude is required, Ability to work independently.
