Job Description

1. Reporting to
Head, Marketing
2. Scope of role
To strategize, plan and implement integrated inbound marketing campaigns and own & manage a number of channels Email, Social, SEO, Paid Advertising, Website, Affiliates, Content amplification, Events, Webinars, Podcast & others. The post is also responsible for ensuring efficient day-to-day management of campaigns and other inbound activities including carrying out some hands on elements such as analysing and drawing insight from third party analytics data, content & campaign management. The post will have to work with the cross-functional departments to coordinate marketing and campaign activity to help produce significant results across each campaign.
3. Main responsibilities
A. Campaign strategy and channels management
Ideate, plan, and implement a multi-channel inbound marketing plan with specific goals and objectives
Own end-to-end implementation and execution of marketing campaigns for brand awareness, acquiring and nurturing leads, engaging & cross-selling/upselling using HubSpot
Track spends & impact for all inbound marketing activities
To develop a strong understanding of the products, competition, industry, marketing goals and objectives
To actively and frequently propose new and improved inbound marketing campaign ideas
Own leads data, manage leads and handover to Sales
Own, project-manage and be responsible for the performance of following channels Website, SEO, Email, Social, Paid Advertising, Events, Webinars, Podcasts & others
B. Reporting:
To measure the effectiveness of campaigns. To achieve increases across these campaigns against the agreed key performance indicators
To use a variety of proprietorial and third party tools to compile and draw insight from both company-specific, sector-specific and generic industry data, in order to better understand user trends and behaviour and add context to the performance of marketing activities
To produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports containing a robust description of activities done, suitable advice and recommendations and a clear summary of performance against the key performance indicators and metrics agreed
To ensure all reports are of a top quality written standard
Use reporting as a feedback mechanism to optimise and improve existing campaigns/activities

C. Technical:
Should be extremely well-versed with marketing automation systems
To ensure that knowledge of the digital industry and changes within inbound marketing is kept up to date and relevant by networking/researching/reading blogs and news sources
To initiate and carry out objective testing of tools, resources and techniques
To ensure traffic is driven to content assets by leveraging landing pages, social media promotions, search engine optimization, paid advertisements and more.
Should be HubSpot certified
Should have working knowledge of the following or related tools Salesforce, Hotjar, JustUno, Ahrefs, Adroll and others
D. Content
To write web copy, blog posts, email messages, research papers, white papers, case studies, and/or other publications as required
Should have working knowledge of managing content strategy and work closely with the head of content to plan content pipelines, requirements, and more.
4. Qualifications and Requirements
A. Key skills and experience
6 8 years experience in B2B SaaS Inbound marketing
A passion for emerging platforms and a full and broad knowledge of effective inbound marketing strategies and techniques
An excellent understanding of how Google and other search engines rank pages
Understanding of key B2B marketing concepts like Demand funnel, buying journey, lead scoring, among others
Ability to multi-task and successfully fulfil the demands of a rapidly growing organisation
An understanding of social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook and Twitter
Excellent understanding of how content marketing works
Effective content creation skills
Personal experience of achieving better-than-expected results (rankings/traffic/conversions) across a number of campaigns
Analytical, with a proven ability to interpret large amounts of information, news, data and research quickly and distil the most important/relevant information for intelligent strategic development
Proficient user of Google Analytics and other major third party analytics platforms
Highly numerate and literate, with the ability to produce top quality written reports
Able to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure
Should have an MBA degree in marketing/business or communications
