Job Title: Export Import Executive
Job Description
• Follow up with customers & suppliers for shipment, payments etc.
• Liaisoning with bank, shipping companies , insurance companies etc.
• Coordinate with Overseas, Carrier, Shipping agent and Freight forwarder.
• Follow up import and export shipment.
• Coordinate with warehouse for loading export cargo and unloading import cargo.
• To performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Follow company policies and regulations, and all implemented.
• Tracking of incoming shipments.
• International Sales & Marketing.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Liaising with the Warehouse, Sales and other relevant departments to determine items
to order.
• Request for Performa Invoices from Overseas Suppliers
• Processing of Overseas Purchase orders
• Placing of orders with Suppliers from overseas
• Preparation of Shipping Insurance Covers
• Processing of payments for Suppliers
• Preparation of Letters of Credit
• Expediting/routine follow up on status of goods to ensure that suppliers meet delivery
promises
• Tracking of incoming shipments
• Liaising with Clearing Agents on cargo clearance with Customs
• Expediting inspection of goods received
• Notifying Suppliers on short-shipped, over supplied and faulty items received and
taking the necessary action
• Follow up with overseas client as per payment terms
• Filing and keeping records of all imports / export -documents
• Updating of imports register and emailing consignments status reports to the M.D.,
Warehouse, accounts department and sales department.
• Liaising with Clearing Agents on cargo clearance with Customs
• Any other duty that may be assigned by the Managing Directors
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
0-2years Experience in import/export profile
Good Communication skills written as well as verbal
Keep up with ever changing Government Policies and Tariffs on Importation of Goods.
Excellent management, organizational, and customer service skills;
Knowledge of export laws and regulations
Willingness to learn.
