Job Description

Our client is a leading full service digital marketing firm. They are currently seeking a Human Resources Rockstar who is an expert in building organization structure and engaging with people. This is a great role for a HR lead to join a fascinating, creative, transforming and dynamic organization at a time of true change.

You will work closely with a passionate and supportive Co-Founder and leadership team designing and developing the people strategy. You will need to be culturally sensitive and have high emotional intelligence to help this business build a people strategy and function for the future.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage all people related activities in the business including the creation of a people strategy in the first few weeks of commencing the role
• Partnering with Co-Founders, senior managers and directors across client servicing, creative, tech departments to attract a pipeline of new talent to the company
• To improve engagement and retention of our team through a variety of planned initiatives reducing our employee attrition rate and improving morale
• Oversee all elements of recruitment and training for new openings
• Develop training systems and, identify and deliver new training initiatives to increase the skills, confidence and ability of our people
• Oversee the company review and appraisal system to maximise its effectiveness and compliance and implement personal development plans for key individuals
• Liaise with our marketing team to better utilise our established websites and online platforms as an effective recruitment tool
• Support and collaboratively drive the identification and creation of innovative new strategies to attract and assess talent
• Lead the HR Business Partnering function to bring strategic focus through business-driven HR initiatives
• Partner with business leaders to roll out programs that help retention, promote internal job movement, improve performance of new hires, succession planning, etc.
• Design and implement Reward & Recognition frameworks to maintain engagement levels
• Leverage professional network, organizations, publications & self-development to stay informed of recruiting trends, techniques and best practice to be at the forefront of talent initiatives/practices ensuring that we become an Employer of Choice
• Design the Engagement framework across the organization towards building an upwardly channelized culture
• Conceptualize and implement a value-pivoted annual employee engagement calendar which promotes an engaged workforce, spanning objectives such as fostering innovation, wellness, diversity and inclusion

About You
Must have 8+ years HR experience with specific skills relating to ATS systems and software, learning and development, training, employee engagement, succession planning and proven track record at improving retention. You must share our passion for great quality and bring limitless energy and enthusiasm to this challenging and rewarding position. The role will require a self-motived individual who can collaborate with others or work well on their own with a proven ability to deliver change and succeed.

• Experience in the media, advertising, digital OR entertainment industry is highly desired
• Experience at creating and organising appraisal systems and personal development plans is a plus
• Enthusiastic and confident with excellent verbal and written communication skills, must speak and write in fluent English
• Passionate and creative individual with great attention to detail
• Self-driven and independent worker who is also capable of adapting to work with others
• Excellent time-management and organisation skills to manage a diverse and often very busy workload
