Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies and programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes. Conducts the recruiting planning meetings and reviews resumes for all candidates basis job requisitions
Conduct employee onboarding and induction activities
Assists with the establishment of an in-house employee training and development program that addresses the company's training needs
Provide support to employees in various HR related topics such as leaves, compensation etc. and resolve issues and problems
Provides payroll processing backup support by partnering with accounting and payroll to maintain the payroll database
Administer compensation and benefit plans and provide day-to-day benefits administration services and assist employees with any claim issues
Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance
Assists with employee communication and feedback through such avenues as company meetings, suggestion programs, employee satisfaction surveys, newsletters, employee focus groups, one-on-one meetings, and Intranet use
Provide competitive market research and prepare pay studies to help establish pay practices and pay bands that help to recruit and retain superior staff
Assist with the implementation of the performance management system and employee development programs
Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics
Candidate must be an MBA with specialization in HR from a reputed institution
Candidates must have 10-12 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of leadership experience in HR positions
Excellent understanding of general human resources policies and procedures and employment/labor laws
Knowledge of HRMS systems (For example: PeopleSoft, Workday etc.) will be a plus
Strong Microsoft Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word)
The ability to effectively work as an individual contributor and possess strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills, multitask and deliver under tight deadlines
The profile involves effective communication and possessing excellent interpersonal and communication skills in verbal and written English is a must
A demonstrated ability to write effectively and summarize large amounts of information succinctly and quickly
High level of attention to detail
A desire to work in an international team environment, often under pressure and with multiple stakeholders
Candidates with experience and proven track record in scaling small teams into mid to large sized teams will be given preference
The candidate is a self-starter that thrives on complexity and finding solutions
