Position Title: Head - Digital Experience Design
To lead a customer-centric design approach in building the most innovative and usable digital experiences.
You will spearhead our UX and UI Design effort across Mobile Apps, Web, Mobile Web, and alternative platforms and work closely with key stakeholders in business, product, technology, operations, marketing and customer service to build world-class experiences across all of platforms.
You will continuously raise the bar for design excellence and foster a passionate design culture across the organisation.
Lead UX and visual design to deliver exceptional customer experiences that are measurable and drive higher conversion and satisfaction across all our digital products.
Own the end-to-end UX and UI design process from concept to prototyping to execution and QA.
Ensure consistent adherence to Design, Usability and Customer Experience Best Practices and overall Brand Guidelines through the creation and use of Digital Style Guides.
Build and maintain effective directional material including User Personas and Customer Decision Journeys in partnership with key stakeholders.
Apoint and manage the work, cost, and quality of all partner design agencies.
Build and manage a high performing UX and UI Design team.
Ensure clear, accurate and timely team deliverables such as wireframes and development-ready assets.
Maximize resource productivity and provide reliable timeline assessments.
Ensure proper team collaboration with Product Management, Development, QA, and PMO
Plan and execute User Testing, A/B testing and other forms of design optimization.
Inform digital product strategy, innovation agenda and aid in the development of product roadmaps.
8+ years experience in digital, information architecture or user experience for a consumer brand.
4+ years experience leading design and implementation of complex digital experiences preferably in mobile app environment.
Understands the art and science of interface design and can articulate thinking behind design decisions.
Proven success managing and coaching talented UX and UI teams.
Proven success designing and optimizing mobile app B2C experiences.
Ability to incorporate research, strategy and analytics into design decisions.
Mastery of UX interaction and design principles and deliverables including rapid prototyping, concept diagrams, user scenarios, wireframes, flows, experience maps and design patterns.
Solid understanding of design fundamentals including typography, iconography and color.
Strong portfolio showcasing a proven track record in creating customer-focused UX and UI that solves complex design problems providing impact to customers and the business.
