Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY
Drive profitability and manage sales of assigned brands to achieve top line and bottom-line. Provide right product mix to ensure Lifestyle achieves its desired market positioning

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Planning, Performance and Presentation
Identify, assess and action on the available market opportunity for new and existing categories, markets and brands (quantitative and qualitative)
Keep abreast of the trends prevailing in the international market and forecast for the season
Increase profitability through margin enhancement
Align buy with planning to finalize the sales, margin and inventory for the department, category, brands, concept.
Plan the product range and pricing strategy based on desired positioning to optimally tap the opportunity
Final range sign off
Ensure buying is done as per OTB and stocks are available in the right mix and as per stock cover norms
Review the brand wise profitability and take required actions with respect to both profitable and non-profitable brands
Manage Sell thru tracking and initiate necessary action to optimize the sell thru within the season
Analyze product feedback and take required actions to address the feedback
Perform gap analysis post launch for new and existing products/brands and take required actions
Track competition with respect to business performance, promotions and productivity and take required actions
Ensure the ageing of stock with reference to overall stock holding is as per defined norms
Ensure enhanced customer experience through right brand product mix, visual appeal and layout navigation
Manage strategic space planning to ensure the SPF and MPF for the department is in line with concept performance
Define, drive and ensure implementation of relevant internal processes and SOPs

Relationship management
Build long term relationships with brand partners by understanding their strategy, positioning, scalability and relevance
Manage Brand relationships. Negotiate terms of trade with new brands and regularly review performance of existing brands for corrective action.

People Management
Provide direction, set expectations and align the team to the department goals
Select the right people, motivate and review performance to continuously enhance performance
Guide, train and coach people for individual development
